Benefits of Cycle Counting

51Âþ»app uses cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records, increase operational efficiency, and promote customer satisfaction. Unlike traditional physical inventory counts, which are typically conducted annually, cycle counting involves counting a small subset of inventory on a regular basis. Cycle counting delivers:

  • Improved inventory accuracy: Cycle counting identifies discrepancies promptly, reducing out-of-stock or overstock items.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction: Preventing out-of-stock items allows 51Âþ»app to deliver for our customers and maintain an industry leading fill rate.
  • Reduced operational costs: Regularly reviewing inventory levels helps optimize stock, minimizing emergency restocks, saving time and money.
  • Accuracy and scalability: Regular inventory counts identify trends and pinpoint opportunities to tailor 51Âþ»app’s inventory practices to meet the needs of our customers.

Shipping Updates

PANAMA CANAL - Media is reporting daily transits of the canal were raised to 35 in August. This is great news for a global shipping infrastructure that has been taxed due to weather and logistical challenges over the past year.

SUEZ CANAL - The number of container ships transiting the Suez Canal remains significantly reduced due to attacks on shipping vessels. The Suez Canal connects the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. As much as 30% of global container trade typically traverses that passage.
